WEB OF LIFE CONNECTIONS

There are multiple metaphors for connectedness:

Perhaps Native American Chief Seattle said it best when he spoke about The Web of Life: “Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect.”

I am also very fond of the Net of Indra. The Vedic Net of Indra is a profound and subtle symbol for how we structure reality. Visualize a vast net that encompasses everything on Earth. Each intersection sustains a shining jewel of light. One of them is you, and one of them is me, and no one is excluded. We are ONE shining as many. Some may appear brighter, yet each one is contributing to the whole.

From Sacred Geometry, we are offered a Flower of Life: It is a geometrical shape with overlapping symmetrical circles that have the look of a flower. Perfection and harmony are depicted to indicate how life can be experienced when we individually connect to our wholeness and mysteriously become only One.

When will we understand and live knowing every thought and action affects everything because we are ALL inextricably CONNECTED?
